Dr. Davies served as Vice President of Business International Corporation in New York, and as President and CEO of Newbery Corporation (an American Stock Exchange listed company). 

He has consulted to major multinational corporations and mid-sized companies on a wide range of strategies, in a wide range of industries, in forty countries.  Principal clients have included Allied Chemical, Computer Network Technologies, Control Data, Corning, General Electric, Hercules, Pfizer, Quadron Software, Resumix, Siemens, United Technologies, Utah International, and Xerox in the United States; and Alcan in Canada, Atlantic Richfield in Australia, Anaconda in Chile and Indonesia, Avon in Europe, Brown Boveri in Switzerland, Ford and Shell in the United Kingdom, Fiat in Italy, Gulf Oil in Indonesia, IBM in Europe, Inco in Canada and Indonesia, Swedish Match in Sweden, Nestlé in Switzerland, and the Société des Bains de Mer in Monte Carlo.  Public-sector clients have included the governments of Monaco and Rhodesia, the Organization of American States, the Office of the Secretary of Defense in the United States, and Joint-Venture Silicone Valley Network.
