Annual Symposium
The
CCBSR will host an annual symposium on
"Chinese Business Strategy and the Chinese Business Model."
The papers at the symposium will be presented by faculty from universities in
China. The papers will cover a wide
range of business and management areas, but all will relate directly to Chinese
business strategy and/or the Chinese business model.
Some papers presented at the symposium will be selected for inclusion in the
CCBSR's two-book continuing series: "Chinese Business Strategy" and
"The Chinese Business Model." The
selection of papers for inclusion in the book series will be based on their
potential to:

Add
to the scholarly and applied body of knowledge in Chinese business strategy
and/or strategic management in China;

Contribute
to the development of Chinese business strategy and/or strategic management
in China;

Contribute
to the development of the Chinese business model; and
-
Contribute
to China's continued economic development.
The symposia will provide a means for scholars with an interest in Chinese
business strategy and the Chinese business model to share their research, data,
observations and ideas. The symposia
will contribute to the quality of higher business education in China, and to the
dissemination of advanced managerial methods.
By making these contributions, the symposia will support China's
continued economic development.
